Most of you heard about the new Dodge Charger; you know, the new car that the internal security (police) has, with the 999 number all over it. [actually i just tried the new 999 number to make sure that it works ... You know, we are in Lebanon, Kelchi ma32oul ]

Was looking up the car online, and thought of sharing the info

• America donated many dodge chargers – black – fully equipped to ISF Lebanon
• The car is not identical to the charger on the market, it has a cheaper interior
• No central console instead u have a black aluminum rail
• The gear is behind the steering wheel (as with most american cars)
• Front protection rails
• 3.5 liters V6 engine
• Old rims

” The vehicles are state-of-the-art police cars and will enable the ISF to perform its functions in safety. They are outfitted with specialized police equipment including enhanced steering and braking capabilities, and lights and sirens with mounted microphones and speakers. Each is identified with the ISF logo and emergency telephone number. Each vehicle has a one-year warranty provided by Chrysler. Assistance in preparing the cars in Lebanon was provided by T. Googled the performance of the car and got some info of the 2006 model which is pretty much the same as the 2008 model.

7-eleven is an american convenience store franchise. The guys in the marketing department there are just too clever !! They came up with a bright idea for the U.S presidential elections.

When you go down to 7-eleven in the morning to get your cup of coffee; you fill it up with either an Obama or a McCain cup to cast your vote. Every week the number of cups are counted and updated on their website. This thing counts because as a matter of fact, 7-eleven serves 1 Million cup of coffee a day !! This means that every 4 days; the whole Lebanese population would be served !!

Inspired from the legendary island of Plato and the original Atlantis of the Bahamas, a new Atlantis rose on the shores of Palm Jumeirah-Dubai in September 2008. Astonishingly, this resort cost nearly 1.5 Billion dollars to build. It consists of two towers linked by a bridge, with a total of approximately two thousand rooms. There are two Palm Jumeirah Monorail stations connecting the resort to the main section of the Palm Jumeirah islands. The resort also includes a water theme park (160,000 square meters), a conference center, and 20,000 square feet (1,900 m²) of retail space.

You must be wondering how much a room costs in such a resort/hotel. Well, I first heard of numbers ranging from 500 – 20,000 $ US dollars; looked it up afterwards and found THIS. I think it ranges from 500 – 2,500$ a night.

When was the last time you sent an email that you have later regretted ? You know, the type of email that you tell a girl you have a crush on her, or you tell an ex-girlfriend to hook up back again !!

If that’s your issue…then don’t worry, because Google has a new solution for you. It’s called Mail Goggles. When you enable it, it will double check that you’re really sure you want to send your email; How ?? By making you solve a few simple math problems

By default, Mail Goggles is only active late night on the weekend as that is the time you’re most likely to need it. Once enabled, you can adjust when it’s active in the General settings.

Hopefully, Mail Goggles will help you prevent these emails……….but I doubt it will

I know it sounds strange BUT….

This is a song dating back to 1999. I remember very well that it marked high ranks on the Top 20s here in Lebanon and Radio stations used to play it all day long. World Wide, the song was a hit. It reached #45 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US and #1 in UK and Ireland.

It originated as an essay written by Mary Schmich and was published in the Chicago Tribune in 1997. Later on in 1999 it was introduced as a song by Baz Luhrmann.

In short, the song is a gathering of advices for you to implement throughout your lifetime; and the main one is to “Wear Sunscreen”. Strange but Nice.

choices are half chance, so are everybody else’s. Enjoy your body,
use it every way you can…don’t be afraid of it, or what other people
think of it, it’s the greatest instrument you’ll ever
own..

Dance…even if you have nowhere to do it but in your own living room.

Read the directions, even if you don’t follow them.

Do NOT read beauty magazines, they will only make you feel ugly.

Get to know your parents, you never know when they’ll be gone for

Be nice to your siblings; they are the best link to your past and the
people most likely to stick with you in the future.

Understand that friends come and go,but for the precious few you
should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and
lifestyle because the older you get, the more you need the people you
knew when you were young.

in Northern California once, but leave before it makes you soft.

Travel.

Accept certain inalienable truths, prices will rise, politicians will
philander, you too will get old, and when you do you’ll fantasize
that when you were young prices were reasonable, politicians were
noble and children respected their elders.

Respect your elders.

Don’t expect anyone else to support you. Maybe you have a trust fund,
maybe you have a wealthy spouse; but you never know when either one
might run out.

Don’t mess too much with your hair, or by the time you’re 40, it will
look 85.

Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who
supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of
fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the
ugly parts and recycling it for more than
it’s worth.

But trust me on the sunscreen…

Named after the first (and last) note on the music scale, The Dø is the quirky French-Finnish duo of Olivia B. Merilahti (vocals) and Dan Levy (guitar, synths). Its a new Folk Rock band or what they are calling Indie style music;
I think it has both of them. Olivia’s peculiar voice gives the music a special touch to please the audience.
