I still don’t know what will be the main theme of this blog, but I can tell you that it will have plenty of music. Here You Go…

The Do

Named after the first (and last) note on the music scale, The Dø is the quirky French-Finnish duo of Olivia B. Merilahti (vocals) and Dan Levy (guitar, synths). Its a new Folk Rock band or what they are calling Indie style music;
I think it has both of them. Olivia’s peculiar voice gives the music a special touch to please the audience.

Their new album “A Mouthful” is out to the public with the European hit single “On My Shoulders”.

The name didn’t come from music notes, it came from their initials, Dan’s being D and Olivia’s being O. D O. The DO.
They are extremely talented regardless of where the name comes from!

I guess they blended their initials that gave the DO note. Good point.
